Welcome PCA 111 !!
Hello my name is keyanta.my friends call me kiki i am a student a Metropolitan College of Newyork. This is my first year and second semester in college. I am taking up American urban studies working toward my masters degree in early childhood education. My goal is to become a teacher in day care to third grade. I enjoy being around children playing and watching them grow.i have been a babysitter for kids when i was a child myself at the age of 10. I have one brother age5 and two sisters age 12 and 3. My love for caring for my siblings and other friends and family members as increased my affect of reaching my goal of becoming a teacher.I think that this degree will teach my how to become a better teacher giving me the proper tools to learn how to present myself professional and effective.My choice to come to mcny is because i want to be able to work with my teachers to reach my goals.I want to be able to understand the lessons that are given to me.i think i made a good choice of attending this college. well my classmate i hope you learn little about me. you can also find me on facebook and myspace by email @ poohb89@hotmail.com or kiki foster. thanks for your time

I love that you are excited about teaching. Many teachers today are just there for the money and they are not actually interested in the empowerment of the children. I to want to teach but high school math. I feel the same way you do about this school and its ability to help me reach my goal.The classes area small and i feel a connection with the teacher. Hope your goals are met enjoy your semester.
